Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Auto Tracker collects, why, and who processes it on our behalf.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and display name.
• Content you add: vehicles, maintenance and service records, parts, issues, photos, documents, and datalogs you upload or import.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processor — we store only your subscription status and identifiers needed to manage access, never your full card details.

How we use it

To provide the Service: to store your garage, analyze your datalogs, compute trends and maintenance reminders, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your personal data.

Processors we rely on

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Lemon Squeezy — checkout, payments, and tax as merchant of record.
• Anthropic — generating optional AI log summaries from the metrics of a log you choose to review.
• Dropbox— only if you connect Dropbox sync. Auto Tracker requests read access to Dropbox so you can browse and select a folder to sync. Dropbox's authorization applies that read permission to your account, but Auto Tracker's sync only lists and downloads top-level files from the folder you select. The short-lived token remains in your browser tab. Imported files and derived log data are stored in your Auto Tracker account.
• Google Drive— only if you explicitly choose an individual Drive file to import. Google's picker requests access to the file you select, downloads it in your browser, and sends the imported log into your Auto Tracker account.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. If your subscription lapses we retain your data so you can pick up where you left off if you return. You can request export or deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Your choices

You can edit or remove vehicles, logs, and other content at any time from within the app, and manage or cancel billing from Settings. Changing or disconnecting a Dropbox folder stops future checks of the old folder but does not delete logs you already imported; you can remove those logs separately.
